A shitty day

Weigh in sucked, 230.

I had an amazingly shitty day and I dont want to talk about it. I'm going to bed. Peace.

  1. Ugh, I'm sorry. Don't let the weigh-in sucking affect next week, though (I am soo guilty of this myself). Keep going!

  2. I know there's more going on than a weigh issue but that's what I'll address. There was a moment for me not long ago where the scale was jumping in all directions. Something someone said to me made me look at those bad scale moments as just a temporary thing. And now I'll give you my version of what was said to me: Right now, all I can see is that since you started this weight loss journey, you've lost a total of 57 pounds and have become very active. That's not easy to do! I think what you've done so far is awesome so don't let yourself get down over a bad day ... just think about the fact that you've come so far and can keep on going.

You've had a tough week. There are many reasons why you are showing a gain. Give your body time and it'll catch up with all the work you've been doing. Bodybuilders don't enter competitions just months after starting their training. It takes time. So does weight loss. :)

    Chin up, girlie! :)

  3. You're right Laryssa, honestly the shitty weigh in isn't even that big of a deal right now. I spent last night taking a shattered door off its hinges, alone, picking up shards and splinters from it, and hauling it to the trash. That meant no door to lock the cats out of the bedroom which led to a 3 am, 4:15 am, and 5:20 a.m. wake ups by Kody Joe. I slept like shit and a big part of me wants to just say to hell with this blog, work, school, and everything else and just crawl back in bed until hell freezes over or until they come to evict me.

  5. CASS!!!! Mom told me that you and Shelby wanted my blog address but I wasn't sure if you'd ever checked it out because this is the first time you've commented. I am so excited to see you (figuratively speaking)!

So mom and I were talking a few weeks ago about me hosting Thanksgiving this year but we weren't sure what everyone would think. I only have one spare room so I wouldn't be able to give everyone a place to stay like mom does but several of the local hotels give discounts for friends and family of locals. Do you think your side of the family would be interested in Thanksgiving in Vegas? I bet your mom would LOVE the black friday shopping options here. ;)

Thank you for commenting and letting me know you're here. And thank you for the encouragement!
