Yay another weigh-in where the scale didn't move even the tiniest little bit. 228, precisely the same as it was last week and pretty much last month. Joy of freakin' joys.
Sleeping in yesterday bit me in the ass last night. I went to bed at 11:30 and then laid there staring at the clock until sometime after 2:00 a.m. before finally falling asleep. Snackers got up around 6 a.m. and let Vladdy out. Vladdy started barking at 6:15 and woke me up. That shits gotta stop or we're going to start getting complaints from the neighbors. I had a laundry list of things I wanted to get done around the house last night but Snackers and I ended up having date night instead ... which was super nice. We really don't spend enough technology free time together lately. Ok, so technically date night wasn't technology free because we spent it playing battleship against each other on our computers but it wasn't any different than if we'd had the actual board game AND the TV was off!!! IT WAS AWESOME!
We've been saving up memento's from things that we do together ever since our second or third date when we went to Zion National Park and saved the one-day entrance pass that we bought. We've decided that we want to stop procrastinating and start compiling our memory box into a scrap book so I may get a few more nights of TV free time with him in the future. YAY! He has night jobs this week though so after tonight I'm pretty much not going to see him except in passing until next weekend. *sigh*

It certainly is maddening when the scale doesn't move especially when we have been doing what we have been doing all along pretty much and losing. We have all been there. We just have to keep the big picture in mind. It HAS to come off eventually and this is pretty much what you will have to do going forward to keep it off so we might as well resign ourselves to times like these. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteAs maddening as it was it wasn't surprising. With the PF I did very little physical activity last week. Well, I suppose compared to my old life I did a lot but compared to the weeks where I've lost quantifiable weight it was nothing. This week I'm going to push through it - with lots of bananas.
