So yesterday during work I called the smoke shop where we got the electronic cigarette to see if they would replace it; no sense driving back up there if the answer is going to be no right? The woman said "Bring it in to my shop and I will show you that it works" and I said "So you're basically saying that I just don't know what I'm doing" and she said "Yes". I couldn't help but laugh but I didn't think there was any chance in hell we were going to take that thing back and she was going to show us some step that we missed or something we did wrong ... oh well.
So we went up there after work, we took the e-cig out of the bag and set it on the counter. She pulled the filter off of it and looked inside, then looked at two other filters and then said "show me". Ummmm ok so I picked up a filter, popped it on the e-cig and sucked on it. The little light came on, as it had been, so I pointed that out as I was dragging and then when I exhaled steam came out of my mouth. I shit you not someone should have gotten my reaction on camera. It DID NOT work Sunday night or even when I tried it again on Monday morning. It had just been sitting in a brown paper bag doing nothing all day. The woman from the store didn't do anything other than pull the filter off and have me put it back on and there isn't a trick to putting these things on they just pop on like a pen cap.
I must have freaked because she started laughing at my expression alone and Snackers' expression was PRICELESS! You'd think we were on an episode of Mindfreak or something because we both just stared at it trying to figure out how she made it work just by touching it. I've combed it thoroughly, no little buttons or switches or secret whatevers. I'm floored ... but the good news is it works and it's not a half bad substitute. Way better than tobacco tea. *turns green* lol It's actually very similar to smoking a hookah.
